Welcome

My name is David Hales and I have been taking photographs for many years, but since taking early retirement I have been able to dedicate even more time to my passion. I have a number of years of experience taking pictures at many Sporting Events, both during the day and at night, but more recently I have branched out into live music events, property developments and Weddings. My website certainly reflects these diverse genres with this section dedicated to Weddings, which I guess is why you have landed here.

My goal is to capture the magic of your special day with style and creativity!!

My approach to wedding photography is to combine a Classic and Traditional style alongside Candid and Documentary style photographs.

Whilst the Classic and Traditional photographs are more straight forward and may not be seen as highly creative - they’re typically shot at eye level and posed - but they stand the test of time. I like to incorporate at least some traditional photography into the mix, particularly for family portraits after the ceremony. These photos will persevere throughout the years and won’t go out of style. It’s very simplistic, and nothing crazy, but they still look good 50 to 60 years later.

The Candid and Documentary style is best described as Photojournalistic. It makes for some of the most heartfelt and memorable images, which is why I like to add these into the mix. I let the moments unfold naturally, then snap away, recording the magic as it happens.

The Wedding Package & Prices

Wedding photography may not be the top of priorites for your big day, but the money you invest now will pay dividends in the future. Your day will be captured forever.

£200 deposit and your final balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding date.

OPTION 1

Pay in full on booking and receive a 10% discount on the price

OPTION 2

Wedding Package - Digital Files - Option 1 - £600, Option 2 - £540

Full Days coverage, from brides departure point to 15 minutes after first dance.

- A pre-wedding consulation meeting to discuss your wedding and your ideas.

- Photography from the bride's preparation until the dancing, including the ceremony, bride & groom, all group and family photos, the reception, wedding breakfast and speeches, cake cutting and first dance.

- Typically around 200-300 beautiful, fully edited, high resolution images.

- Your own password-protected, online gallery to download your photos from or to share with friends and family,

- Unlimited downloads.
